i'm not a princess, this ain't a fairytale...

happy national scrapbooking day! (we have an hour to go until it's midnight, but still). in honor of NSD, here's a big scrappy post with a bunch of layouts i haven't shared here yet...

these were done for prima...the first two were done for a swap with the tattered angels team. i scrapped a pic of me and breanne from my trip a couple weeks ago...i used one of the felts as a mask on the first one, and then cut some flowers from a sheet of paper...

here's a closeup of the masking, you can't really see it in the LO picture above...

on this one, i cut up six 2"x2" squares from cardstock scraps, and used those as masks. i filled in the blank spaces with my title, a bunch of flowers, etc.

this one was done for a swap with the couture cardstock team, and uses a bunch of stamps. i almost NEVER stamp, but sometimes it's fun to go out of your box and play around with them :)

the next 3 were done for KI...the first one for a challenge i hosted last month, to use old favorites :) i used a bunch of super old school KI on this page, like the first colorful line!

the next two use some of the new lines from CHA. this one uses paisley parade...it's super cute, and i love the colors :)

this one using enchanting, which is super pretty! i was looking at these photos, and thought "we look so young"...it was only 3 years ago, but it seems so much longer than that! i wrote about that in my journaling. and sheesh, we are all turning 25 this year.

a couple for two peas. the first one was for the winter theme...i ALWAYS struggle with that, since it's california. the photo is from a cabin trip last year, when it had just snowed quite a bit a week before we got there, and big trees was COVERED in snow. i went with a winter wonderland theme, and sprayed a silver glimmer misted, using the doilies from little yellow bicycle as a mask, and using those spaces for journaling...

this one just went up a few days ago...i LOOOOOVE the clothesline line from little yellow bicycle and thought these clothing stickers were super cute. i took the clothesline theme literally, creating one using said stickers and stitching rub-ons (i really want a sewing machine, damnit).

and finally, my first LO for the crate blog...speaking of crate, they are having an ipod giveaway, involving a treasure hunt for blinkies on the designers' blogs. if you're here for said treasure hunt, here's a hint: you can browse the archives by clicking on the months in the sidebar. the title of the post where the blinkie is hidden has lyrics from a lifehouse song ;)

phew, that was a long post...happy scrapping everyone! i'm hoping to get some of my own done, but we'll see if that happens since i'm hanging out with the boy most of the day tomorrow :)

have a good one!
