i'm falling harder than a landslide

it's no question that i'm kindasorta (translation: REALLY) into the banner trend. so i gathered up some american crafts and dear lizzy goodies, and came up with this:

a photo banner! :) it was pretty easy and super fun to make. i printed out a bunch of my favorite photos of me and my girls in a small size and stuck them on here. you can see the banners closer here:

fun stuff. it's currently hanging on the wall above my bed - i've been dying to put some sort of collection of photos up there for the last YEAR, and i've finally got something. hopefully, i'll put up more photos there soon!

have a good one :)

a one track mind like me

it's been a summer, well actually year, of photo booth pics. i was looking through the pile i had, and scanning them in to post to facebook and noticed that i had lots! it seems like everytime i pass one, i have to jump in one. some fun ones to share...

with judy when she visited in the spring. the huge old navy downtown has a photo booth now, so we jumped in. i like it because a) it's only $3, and b) they give you two copies of the photos!

with breanne (and madelyn!) from the jersey shore :)

the san diego fair with amy and amanda...i have more to blog about this event, but that will be another blog post. let's just say the day involved deep fried BUTTER. ha :)

last week, nadine was here from canada, and so during our treks throughout the city, we jumped in a few photobooths.

from old navy again...

from one of those crazy japanese photo booths. seriously, they are insane. they are super high-tech...and you can doodle, stamp, and add lots of designs to them. and they print with GLITTER. seriously. insane. i had to take a cue from the REAL photo booth pros and add lame phrases such as "cute" and "cool" and "love." HA.

from the musee machanique which has the REAL, super old-school booths. we wanted to do the sepia ones, but that machine would not take our monies :( this black and white one was pretty awesome though!

i'm also noticing that photo booth pics are quickly becoming a favorite to scrap. they're easy to use, i love the small size, and they are super fun! here's one recent LO i did with an older photo strip from a few years ago...

it was for a weekly challenge at two peas to use older product. i dug out my scraps and cut up little banners. i then brought out my little box with little bits and pieces and used up some old embellishments i had lying around (AC plastic stars, anyone? i still love those things!). it was fun :)

have a good one :)

crossed off #14 (lifehouse, about a week ago) and am failing miserably at #13. i promise to be better at that one.

but i have an excuse for that one. been super busy, with an impromptu second so-cal trip thrown in. lots and lots of photos and stories to share from what i've been up to lately, but i'm behind in editing my own photos. i've been busy editing photos for other people. you can see what i've been up to photog-wise on my photo blog. lots of sharing going on over there :)

have a good one!
